MY FAVORITES
THREE OF MY FAVORITE RECENT PUBLICATIONS
P.A.C. Duijn; V. Kashirin and P.M.A. Sloot: The Relative Ineffectiveness of Criminal Network Disruption, Sci. Rep., vol. 4, pp. 4238+15. Nature Publishing Group/Macmillan, 2014. ISSN 2045-2322. (DOI: 10.1038/srep04238)
A. Czaplicka.; J.A. Hołyst and P.M.A. Sloot: Noise enhances information transfer in hierarchical networks, Sci. Rep, vol. 3, 2013. Nature Publishing Group/Macmillan (DOI: 10.1038/srep01223)
R. Quax; Apolloni,A. and P.M.A. Sloot: The diminishing role of hubs in dynamical processes on complex networks, Journal of the Royal Society Interface, vol. 10, nr 88 2013. ISSN: 1742-5662. (DOI: 10.1098/rsif.2013.0568)
MY FAVORITE CONFERENCE
The ‘International Conference on Computational Science’ ,also known as ICCS. Since 2002 I am the overall scientific Chair together with Prof. Dr. Jack Dongarra. The overall acceptance rate for ICCS is ~ 25 %. Typically we have ~ 300 – 500 participants.
Bids are open for local organizers for 2017 and 2018. If you have suggestions: [email protected]
The other very relevant conference is the Conference on Complex Systems.
